I love working at BLAZE the salon is always busy and buzzing, 
From the phone ringing, the sound of the coffee machine preparing fresh hot delicious coffee, to the chit chat between stylists and their clients, it’s always a fun vibe. Being centered  in Newmarket is convenient as it’s close to Westfield where it’s always easy to find parking or grab lunch on your way to the salon. 
I’m the kind of girl who loves to be kept going, kept busy, so BLAZE is right up my street. 

Speaking of streets, I’m Irish and very proud to be Irish I’ve been living and working for BLAZE the past 5 years alongside our beautiful team. 
Each team member is unique and has something different to bring to the salon. 

I personally love creating blonde hair, whether your a cool sophisticated ash blonde or a warm golden beachy blonde,
I will always do my very best to help you create your perfect haircolour. 

Consultation is so important to me. This is where our plan is put in place, 
For many clients I will ask them to show me a picture of their desired hair. 
Then we can break down every part of that picture to ensure we are on the same page, before starting my work. 

I love to talk, anyone that knows me says ‘oh that’s Louise, you’ll hear her before you see her’ haha. I enjoy walking and boxing to help keep me fit and stay positive.

Welcome to Blaze hair salon.
I'm Kelly, the proud mumma bear of the BLAZE team along with my parnter in hair, Mana Dave 

You can find me busy on the floor during the week working along side some pretty clever people helping me out applying colour for you.
I've been doing hair for quite some time now and although I love it all, I particularly love crafting shorter shapes and variations of bobs.

Curly hair is also a fav of mine to cut.

When I'm not in the salon you'll find me in trackies and gumboots on our little lifestyle block tending to our animals and making the odd fun Tik Tok with my daughter Ava.

Mana and I really appreciate each and everyone of you that supports our salon. If we haven't meet before, come hang out and let's cut that hair shorter

TELL US ABOUT YOUR HAIRDRESSING CAREER AND WHERE YOU’VE BEEN WORKING
I got into the industry as hair has always been something I’ve been playing with and having fun with recreating hair looks from show and movies as a kid. So I’ve always been interested in the film/fashion industry. I’ve been working at M11 studio since 2017.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF BEING A HAIRDRESSER?
Always love meeting new people, who are open to experimenting with new things, and making people feel good. And obviously creating beautiful hair!
WHAT ARE YOU LOVING TRENDWISE IN HAIR RIGHT NOW FOR HAIRCUTS AND STYLING?
I’ve always been a big fan of a great textured hair cut as a wavy haired girl myself and it’s interesting to see everyone transitioning out of the Covid mullets and into wolf/ butterfly long layered cut now and it’s great people are more open to learning to style these cuts with the help of TikTok tutorials and blow out brushes. So that classic blow out look but I’ve always loved teaching clients how to spice up their hair with flat iron waves cause it’s an easy learn.
WHAT ARE YOU LOVING TRENDWISE IN HAIR RIGHT NOW FOR COLOURS?
People are finally embracing warmer tones in the hair! With more people trying out copper tones and that warmer deep red brown, I’ve always thought that more people should try the warm side of colour and I’m glad that’s happening!

Brunches with friends! And reorganising all my stuff haha

Its a trade, a hands on job involving people. I love the creativity and thats its connected to fashion.
